I've noticed the weather slowly transition into warmer temperatures and there is nothing more awkward than walking in a jacket that is too warm and heavy. At the same time, some days, a trench coat is just too thin (aka colder climes fashion problems, sigh!).

To prevent perspiration in my black wool winter coat, I was on a mission to find a jacket this weekend. Surprisingly, everything I found was overpriced, not warm enough or too heavy, black or a pretty pattern I would get sick of after one season (Zara, I'm talking about you).

Yes, I crossed off anything black because I already wear too much of it and I wanted something that didn't remind me so much of winter. Did I mention I wanted something versatile I could wear during the day, to work or at night? Since black was out of the question, I went for navy (am I clever or what?). Talk about separation anxiety issues!

I'm in love with my new navy jacket from Mango (found here). It has faux leather details that I think meet all my criteria AND it's versatile enough that I can wear throughout spring and fall.
Disclaimer: Actually, this is not a spring jacket, I picked it up from the fall/winter sale rack. Hello, half-price tag! Forget thrift shops, I'm popping tags in the sales department :)

Bonus? I was already apparently drooling over it when I made THIS post in the fall but didn't know when I purchased it!

I also included pictures of my new Hunter boots because while shopping online, I was scrambling to see whether "graphite" was light or dark. I googled the color and I still wasn't convinced. I was shopping on Beyond the rack where you can only reserve an item for twenty minutes, so time was a-ticking! If I can help at least one person : Hunter regent graphite are darker in color whereas Hunter regent neoprene "graphite" are the lighter ones. You're welcome.

Have you been shopping for spring outerwear garments?

Ps. How stylish is my boyfriend?
